On this tour we examine the creator of “Peter Pan” J.M.Barrie. We discover the places he lived and talk about not only him, but the strange hold he exerted over the Llewelyn Davies family and his connection with the du Maurier family. We talk about the characters that influenced their lives, their circle of friends and the astonishing hidden pursuits that influenced Victorian and later Britain. The tour begins in South Kensington and culminates at the grave of Daphne’s grandfather George in Hampstead, himself a great artist and best selling author. Whilst in Hampstead we also visit the houses where Daphne and her father lived as well as George’s grand house. Then we see the home of one of Daphne’s literary heroines.
